Getting a Hairy Chest in Flux
It’s pretty well known that Flux is a censored model. By default, it gives everyone granny panties if you don’t explicitly give them some sort of trousers. And you’ll definitely need a LORA if you want genitalia. But it’s worse than that. It doesn’t really believe in body hair for men. (I have not explored the situation for females, but if it won’t generate body hair where it’s generally socially acceptable, I doubt it will do it where there are strong social norms against it.)
Anyway, for a project I’m working on, I needed men with body hair. It’s set on an alien planet, but they are roughly Persian in our racial vernacular. That means that the two men who are the “stars” of the project are very hairy indeed. And so, I went on a quest for body hair.
I found four LORAs that said they could help:
- [Hairy Man][1]
- Better Hairy Me
- XHirsute Men
- Hairy Man Body Hair (CruzFlesh)
I also included “Plain Old Flux” as a baseline to see what doing nothing would get me.
- Raw Flux
- Only one out the four could honestly claim “hairy chest.” None of them would get woofed on Scruff for their hair.
- Beard is actually pretty good.
- Cape is…weird.
- 1/4 has an odd placement in the drinking trough. = Final: Baseline Flux does not have the slightest idea what a “hairy chest” is. A Lora is essential to get decent chest hair.
- Hairy Man (Flux)
- 4/4 Hairy chests
- About 75% have dad bod
- Cape problems
- Skin and faces often need work
- Better Hairy Men
- 4/4 Hairy chests
- About half had Dad bod
- Cape problems
- XHirsute
- 4/4 have hairy chests.
- All of them have definite Dadbod.
- All of them have believeable cape attachment
- Most photo-realistic
- Cruz:
- Undeniably hairy chests
- Cape problems
- Daddy, daddy, daddy.
- Soft / blurry details
- Nipples are not realistic = Final: If this were the only one, I would use it, but I would always be looking for a better one.
