For today’s Regendering Monday, I decided to revisit a particularly egregious image that I found last year, on PromptHero: The Native American Princess. I can’t remember what I was looking for, and I may have just been browsing images there. But the image was so sexualized that it cried out for re-gendering. Here’s the original:
DEA realistic, full body view of a gorgeous, Native American female that is around 25 years old. Her headdress is a striking mix of feathers, beads, and other decorative elements, primarily in shades of orange, blue, and white, with intricate patterns and designs. The headdress is adorned with long, flowing feathers that cascade down her back and shoulders, adding to the regal and exotic feel of the image. The woman’s neck is adorned with a large, multi-strand necklace that matches the colors of the headdress, with additional smaller necklaces and bracelets. She has an incredible body with tribal tattoos on her arms and tribal jewelry necklaces and bracelets made from colorful sky blue, gold, and bright purple gems and stones. She has medium-long, straight with some braids, jet black with bright sky blue hair with three feathers blue and yellow in color. She is wearing brown with sky blue, lace underwear, bent over picking vegetables from the garden. She has her back to the camera with a sly look back to the camera, The tribes teepees can be seen in the background along with a few other members of the tribe. The sun is setting on a clear summer night as blue hour lighting is creating dark shadows and last bit of sunlight highlights the females features and beauty. The scene is in 8K, high resolution, and extremely detailed masterpiece.
The image was originally done in Flux, but I decided for today I’m going to do it with Z-Image Turbo. Now Z-Image is much less censored compared to Flux, but I was pretty sure I was going to need a bit of help from a LoRA to get better basket definition. There are already a number of dick LoRAs out there (some better than others), but for this one, I decided to go with a bulge LoRA, rather than a full-frontal LoRA.
My first attempt was my standard workflow: leave all image generation parameters the same or “better,” and make the fewest and smallest changes to the prompt to get it to “male”12. This actually worked out reasonably well:
DEA realistic, full body view of a handsome Native American male that is around 25 years old. His headdress is a striking mix of feathers, beads, and other decorative elements, primarily in shades of orange, blue, and white, with intricate patterns and designs. The headdress is adorned with long, flowing feathers that cascade down his back and shoulders, adding to the regal and exotic feel of the image. Still, I thought I could do a bit better. This was nice, but it could have been more sexualized. I played around a bit, editing the prompt here and there to emphasize some things.
Adding in the bulge LoRARandom Other Changes.
And thus, the final version:
I think it’s going to be quite a while before I feel that men are over-represented in the seuxalized content generated by GenAI. ↩
One of these Mondays, I am going to co-opt the thread and talk about how badly some models want to generate straight white women, even with specific instructions to not generate straight people, white people, or women. ↩
